2010 Lexus GX 460 Back on Sale, No Longer a Safety Risk
Toyota seems to have made the necessary changes to the 2010 Lexus GX 460; dealers began selling the vehicle again on April 29.
The GX 460 was initially recalled after Consumer Reports listed it as a “Don’t Buy,” citing a safety risk for rollover concerns when making turns.
More than 9,400 vehicles were fixed, and changes have been made in the production of all future vehicles to come off the assembly line.
Since 2009, more than 9 million Toyota vehicles have been recalled. Ironically, the automaker grew in popularity due in large part to its long track record of safety and reliability. The seemingly endless recalls have made the future of the auto giant very unpredictable.
