Recall by GM Impacts Over 14,000 Buick and Chevy Vehicles

General Motors announced a significant recall Friday affecting over 14,000 Buick and Chevy vehicles. GM is recalling the 2012 Buick LaCrosse and the 2012 Chevrolet Impala due to flawed stability control systems. Dealers will repair the vehicles for free to prevent the possibility of a fire breaking out due to heat from the converter.

Fire at Magna Plant Impacts General Motors, MazdaA fire that occurred at the Magna International plant in Michigan on Wednesday afternoon has interrupted production for both General Motors and Mazda. GM halted production at one of its truck assembly factories and shortened production at a number of other plants. One of Mazda's Michigan plants was also affected. |
