Ferrari to Host Festival at Mont-Tremblant Racetrack this Weekend
Historic and Current Ferrari Racing Ideal for a Late Fathers Day Present
The stuff of dreams? For Ferrari North America its annual Ferrari Festival (Ferrari Maserati Racing Days) being held at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant Raceway on June 24 through
26 is merely business as usual.
To the average attendee, however, all the bright yellow Scuderia Ferrari badges on gleaming rossa paint might be a little overwhelming. For those who love classics, and most Ferrari fans do, the event will feature historic Ferrari, Maserati and pre-war Alfa Romeo cars driven by their owners, which come from all over Canada and the U.S. to participate in actual races.
The event will include more than twenty-five drivers, some professional, such as 2004 Ferrari Champion Emmanuel Anassis, and some celebrity such as Montreal Canadiens hockey star Patrice Brisebois.
Fans of the legendary marque will be able to watch the races and then wonder through the Ferrari Challenge paddock.
The car of the hour will be Ferraris new 430, which should garner the majority of attention due to its stylish new lines and "affordable" price tag. Ferrari will also other models on hand, plus Maseratis new Quattroporte and the Maserati Grand Sport.
Bose Corporation will set up shop to highlight its Bose sound system, standard on the Quattroporte, and allow festival-goers the chance to win a new Wave music system.
Tickets can be purchased directly at the event, or through www.tremblantactivities.com or by calling 1-866-80-AUTO.
