Ford Announces Home Rooftop Solar Panels Offer with Purchases of Electric Autos
Hybrid & Technology | August 15, 2011Critics of the electric-vehicle movement maintain the vehicles do not reduce carbon footprints at all, as they require massive amounts of electricity to power. Ford is the latest automaker to respond to this criticism by launching its “Drive Green for Life” program. The new campaign will offer buyers of electric vehicles the option of including rooftop solar panels for their homes to help charge the vehicle.
