Lamborghini Murciélago Jubilee Edition Now Available

Exclusive 40th Anniversary Lambo Sports Carbon Fiber Trim

Hard to believe, but Lamborghini has been around for forty years. The small Italian company that started out as a humble tractor manufacturer has developed into one of the worlds most recognized makers of exotic supercars.

After a legacy that includes such classic sports cars as the 350 GT, Miura, Countach and Diablo, its now time to celebrate four decades of the fighting bull. To celebrate Lamborghini will be producing 50 Jubilee Edition Murciélago supercars, brimming with performance and customized details to commemorate the brands success.

As if the low, wide, scissor-door equipped Murciélago wasnt exclusive enough as it is, this limited edition Lambo takes visual appearances to new levels of good taste. After a decade of bright yellows, various shades of orange and even bold lime green, the carbon fiber bodied car has been finished in an elegant metallic blue. Real, unpainted carbon fiber trim has been fitted around the front windows top frame, rear windows framework, and the gas filler lid. Special badging has also been applied throughout the exterior.

Instead of riding on stock Murciélago wheels, this particular example rides on special anthracite-painted rims that sport the companys bull logo in three dimensions. Flip up the doors, and specially upholstered two-toned black and light gray perforated leather seats further set the Jubilee Edition apart. Finishing the interior off is a set of floor mats embroidered with the 40th Anniversary Lamborghini logo.

Each limited edition Murciélago will sell for E193,000 (USD$222,260) - a E15,000 (USD$17,275) hike over the standard Murciélago.
